Official Opening of Babies Memorial Garden

The new babies and children's memorial garden at Cambridge crematorium was officially opened on Tuesday 8th June by the Lord Mayor.
The theme of the garden is "teddy bear's picnic" and incorporates numerous carved granite features including deer, badger benches, leaf style pavers, owl on a pole, rabbits, squirrels etc all carved in granite. There is a muti coloured Wendy House to place mementos in. The garden is "child friendly" and offers a good choice of memorialisation includling the daisy chain blocks as seen in our Babies and Children's memorial brochure.
