Manufactured from quality granite. The sloping recessed vase block measures 305mm wide x 140mm deep x 100mm high (12" x 16" x 4"). The slope is from 100mm to 40mm (4" x 1½").
A recess is cut into the sloping face to take a granite tablet. Drilled and countersunk bolt holes are covered by the tablet. The vase block is bolted to the vault with stainless steel bolts and washers into cast-in stainless steel sockets.
Sanctum 2 in-situ
The waterproof concrete vaults external measurements are 305mm wide x 410mm deep x 375mm high (12" x 16" x 14¾"). The vault will accommodate either 2 standard caskets. (Manufacturers names on request) or 2 polytainers.
Male and female joggles are cast into the sides of the vault to assist in correct alignment during installation. An expanded neoprene gasket is fitted between the base of the vase block and the vault to prevent the ingress of moisture. There is a plastic screening shelf between the bottom and top vault if caskets are used.
The tablet size is 185mm x 305mm (7¾" x 12") in Black, Red or Blue Pearl granite and is secured to the vase block by two bronze Secur-it thief proof screws. Lettering is - Gilded, Painted or Relief.
