Honeycomb Granite Sundial
The stand alone sundial is a feature in itself and would grace most memorial gardens. Consists of twenty four granite plaques, offering three different sizes. Ideal where space is at a premium.
The sundial is manufactured in polished granite and comprises of a sub-base, a bottom section which accommodates eight recessed granite plaques measuring 10½"wide x 4¾" high. The middle section accommodates eight plaques measuring 8¾" wide x 4¾" high. The top section accommodates eight plaques measuring 7¼" wide x 4¾" high. The pedestal sits quite elegantly on the top of the pedestal where a brass sundial is then positioned.
The sundial is installed complete with 24 blank granite plaques in a choice of colours:- black, red or blue pearl. The Columbaria Company will install the sundial. This is subject to a suitable level foundation being completed. The overall weight is approximately one tonne. The granite plaques are secured with two screws. A separate tool is included to fix the screws.
The inscribed plaques are usually gilded and can accommodate a small design
